the north face x national geographic

The North Face launched a collaboration with National Geographic in 2018 with a Bottle Source collection made from single-use plastic sourced from the National Parks; including Yosemite, Great Smoky Mountains, and Grand Teton National Parks. Beyond sustainable sourcing– this program includes a giveback of $1 to the National Park Foundation per product sold.

For the 2019 collection, the goal was to refresh our collaboration with National Geographic with a more modern, youthful perspective. The bold statement “Waste is Over” not only demands a new era of sustainability, but is also a subtle nod to John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “WAR IS OVER! (If You Want It)”.
